About The Position

Rolling Hills Hospital, a 130-bed inpatient treatment facility in Franklin, Tennessee (south of Nashville), is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide medication management services within its In-Patient Services department. The facility treats adolescents, adults, and senior adults with co-occurring disorders and chemical dependency issues. This is a full-time, employed position with W2 status. The primary caseload will be adults and older adults, with occasional assistance needed for adolescents. The role involves new patient evaluations and medication management, working collaboratively with an adult psychiatrist. Treatment focuses on general mental health and some detox patients. Occasional outpatient work may be required for PTO coverage. Optional weekend call is available for extra compensation.

Requirements

• TN APRN License, or ability to obtain
• ANCC Board Certification
• One year of PMHNP practice experience preferred

Nice To Haves

• In-patient experience is not required, but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management services in an In-Patient setting.
• Conduct new patient evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with an adult psychiatrist.
• Treat general mental health conditions.
• Provide care for some detox patients.
• Offer occasional assistance with adolescent patients.
• Provide occasional Out-patient work for PTO coverage.
