Requirements

  • Two year’s experience in an industrial/multi-craft maintenance environment with at least 3 years manufacturing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong hands-on abilities.
  • Above average mechanical aptitude.
  • Competence with power tools, welding, fabrication, painting, etc.
  • The ability to work overtime.
  • Some heavy lifting.
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • The ability to climb ladders and steps.
  • Eligibility to bid for any hourly position includes: Be a regular full-time Alliance employee, Have no more than a Written Discussion for Attendance, Have no active Job Performance Corrective Action.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in a related technical field with additional experience or completion of an apprenticeship program would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with maintenance technicians on performing routine maintenance duties.
  • Assist in repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Clean and maintain work area, tools, and equipment.
  • Work with Maintenance Tech to perform routine maintenance duties.
  • Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with PM schedules.
  • Assist in equipment moves and installation projects.
  • Assist in generating new and/or improving existing PM schedules.
  • Assist in training team members for operator PM’s.
  • Assist with continuous improvement of company safety practices as well as improved welding processes, techniques, and practices.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • All other duties assigned.
