We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our fleet of service trucks and trailers remains safe, operational, and compliant with DOT regulations. Requirements

Experience in preventative maintenance or general mechanical work (required)
Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record (For Hire Endorsement - IN or Class C License - IL preferred)
Basic set of personal tools
Fundamental computer skills for logging service and inventory data
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Nice To Haves

Completion of mechanic courses or equivalent truck maintenance knowledge (preferred)
Plumbing experience is a plus
A self-motivated and dependable team player
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

Performing routine preventative maintenance and light repairs on our truck and trailer fleet.
Conducting seasonal and monthly preventative maintenance services such as oil changes and lubrication, checking and maintaining fluid levels, inspecting U-joints, bearings, PTO shafts, examining air and exhaust systems, evaluating tire condition and brake performance, reviewing suspension systems.
Performing light electrical repairs.
Servicing steering and fuel systems.
Performing light-duty mechanical work as needed.
Transporting trucks to satellite branches for scheduled maintenance and repairs.
Keeping detailed records of maintenance work, parts inventory, and services completed.
Repairing hoses and wands as required.
