About The Position

Sexy Pizza is seeking a PM Shift Lead to assist in daily operations and closing of their restaurant. This role involves taking orders, serving customers, preparing and cooking menu items, and maintaining cleanliness and health/safety standards. The Shift Lead will also be responsible for optimizing profits, ensuring guest satisfaction, reconciling cash drawers, processing end-of-day operations, and securing the restaurant after closing duties are completed.

Requirements

  • Availability to close the restaurant on a regular basis.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Communication skills to create a positive interaction experience with customers and communicate clearly with Team Members.
  • Basic math skills to handle money and make change.
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 or more pounds.
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours or more).
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily operations and closing of the restaurant.
  • Take orders and serve customers at counters or tables.
  • Prepare and cook menu items to order.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stay up-to-date with health and safety standards.
  • Optimize profits and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle reconciliation of cash drawers and Delivery Driver checkout reports.
  • Process End of Day operations.
  • Lock up the restaurant after completion of cleaning and closing duties.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with Leadership staff.
  • Provide direction to other employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
  • Ensure all closing checklists are completed to company standards.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, fountain soda machine, hand sink, lobby tables, chairs, etc.
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure consistent high quality of food preparation and service.
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, proper uniform, and appearance standards.
  • Practice proper portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
  • Place orders with distributors and schedule deliveries.
  • Receive orders from distributors, rotate and properly store all products.
  • Enter and receive all invoices using digital systems.
  • Uphold all ServSafe guidelines.
  • Maintain the highest standard of customer service at all times.
  • Take appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
  • Complete accident reports promptly in the event of an injury.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
  • Conduct the training of new employees.
  • Accurately follow all standardized recipes and procedures.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly in accordance with health department standards.
