About The Position
The Westin Westminster is seeking a professional and service-oriented PM Server to join their dinner service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of food and beverage service, the ability to upsell menu items, and a passion for delivering exceptional evening dining experiences.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant serving experience required; fine dining or hotel restaurant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems strongly desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during high-volume dinner service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat dinner guests warmly and professionally.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system.
- Provide detailed knowledge of dinner menu offerings, wine list, and daily specials.
- Upsell premium items to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and timing meet Westin standards.
- Anticipate guest needs, monitor satisfaction, and resolve concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain a polished, clean, and professional dining environment.
- Accurately handle payments, following cash-handling and credit card procedures.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
