About The Position

QuikTrip is seeking a PM Selector to join their team. This role is responsible for accurately cutting open product without damaging inventory, stocking flow racks, and staging overflow/backstock area neatly on pallets behind the select racks for the day selecting team. Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Employee must work through QTD job categories per policy.
• Ability to safely and correctly operate Material Handling equipment.
• Must have the ability to obtain machine operator certificate for pallet jack.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Needs good manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift at least 60 lbs. without trouble.

Nice To Haves

• Have machine operator certificate complete for forklift, Man up, and two-wheeler.

Responsibilities

• Verify labels on all broken case merchandise is accurate.
• Cut open boxes safely away from stocker on the correct side without damaging product. Product overflow must be on a pallet and not directly on the floor. Stacking heavy to light neatly to prevent damages.
• Load merchandise in the correct slot on the flow rack; some products have more than one slot. Slotting product to maximize product availability for day Selecting team.
• Pull product from backstock area for broken case select areas as specified by the picking labels.
• Transfer product following established procedures.
• Turn in paperwork to appropriate area when finished.
• Keep management informed of barriers to maintain effective performance (i.e. machine problems, missing labels).
• Operate Material Handling Equipment to specified requirements in a safe manner following manufactures and QTD Guidelines.
• Keep work area swept, mopped, and free of trash.
• Assist and help in the completion of work in other areas (Ambient and Temperate Controlled) in the Facility as designated by management.
