Requirements

Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards.
Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stovetops, broilers, and steamers.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items when needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work continuously in confined spaces.
Ability to work in varying temperature conditions common in kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes and guest specifications to ensure consistent quality.
Inspect, select, and use quality food ingredients in all preparations.
Monitor food storage, rotation, and product conditions to maintain freshness and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, storage, and work areas in compliance with health regulations.
Ensure food presentation and plating standards meet company expectations.
Receive and properly store delivered products according to food safety guidelines.
Assist kitchen management with ordering and inventory tasks.
Perform routine cleaning duties and maintain safe working conditions.
Keep floors clean and dry to prevent workplace hazards.
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding issues or operational needs.
