About The Position

The PM Line Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with club recipes and standards, reporting to the Sous Chef. This role involves setting up service units, serving items according to portion and presentation standards, and notifying the Sous Chef of expected shortages. The cook will ensure assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary, assist the Sous Chef in maintaining kitchen security and safety, and maintain a neat, professional appearance with proper personal cleanliness. Responsibilities also include setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the cook station, adhering to health and safety regulations, and properly storing leftover products. Additional duties may be assigned by the Sous Chef.

Requirements

  • Be able to work a variable schedule.
  • Work well in a team setting.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the kitchen for long periods of time.
  • Be organized and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Be able to perform all front office functions.

  • Notifies Sous Chef of expected shortages.
  • Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary.
  • Assists the Sous Chef in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen.
  • Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times.
  • Sets up, maintains and breaks down cook station.
  • Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
  • Covers, dates and neatly stores all leftover products that are re-usable.
  • Maintains the highest sanitary standards.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned by Sous Chef.
