About The Position

The Grayson Hotel is seeking passionate, polished, and welcoming PM Hosts/Hostesses to join their team. The shift runs from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm. As the first point of contact, the Host/Hostess will set the tone for every guest's experience by greeting them warmly, efficiently managing reservations and seating, and helping to ensure seamless service. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment and are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Host/Hostess in an upscale or high-volume restaurant
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to multi-task
• Professional, polished, and confident presence
• Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable work ethic
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts and lift, move, carry, push or pull up to 50 lbs. as needed

Nice To Haves

• Ability to manage OpenTable or similar reservation systems

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage reservations and walk-ins using OpenTable or Seven Rooms, anticipating guest needs, such as noting allergies or special requests
• Escort guests to their tables with grace, presenting menus and introducing them to their server
• Maintain the pristine appearance of the host stand and entrance area at all times
• Handle phone calls with excellent etiquette, managing inquiries and reservations
