Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or courier operations.
- Forklift certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and dispatch or transportation management systems.
- Ability to work early in the mornings in a fast-paced environment.
- Access to reliable transportation (public transportation minimal).
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory or dispatch experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the daily driver delivery operation, ensuring all delivery routes are delivered on time, and executed safely and efficiently.
- Supervising drivers while supporting service excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise, coach, and support drivers and dispatch personnel.
- Monitor route performance and resolve delivery issues and service exceptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Communicate operational updates and escalate risks as needed.
- Track and report key performance metrics, including on-time dispatch, delivery performance, productivity, and scan compliance.
- Promote a safe, productive, and customer-focused work environment.
- Offload and load trailers as needed.
- Track daily inbound trailers and ensure all delays are reported.
