About The Position
TRUCKWAY LEASING is seeking a PM Diesel Mechanic for their Indianapolis, IN location. This is a full-service commercial leasing, rental, and maintenance provider with locations throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, offering service capabilities throughout the continental U.S. and Canada through the Nationlease Network. Requirements
- Preferred experiences as a Diesel Technician
- Must have a clean driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to thrive in a in a fast-paced environment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
- Self-motivated and professional
Nice To Haves
- One year of Fleet or Dealership experience
- Class A CDL a plus
Responsibilities
- Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers and drivers
- Interact with customers and handle requests
- Using basic computer skills to track and enter repair data
- Performing preventative maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment
- Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions and chassis components
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Perform vehicle diagnostics
- Learn new skills through Truckway’s technician training
- Pick up and/or deliver equipment for maintenance
