About The Position
This role is for a Plywood Shift Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing operations during their shift, ensuring effective communication, problem-solving, and fostering a total quality management environment. Leadership and change facilitation are key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- High school degree required
- Two to four years previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership experience required
- Computer skills required
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Possess problem solving, analytical, organizational and team building skills
- Must be able to work well with people
- Must be able to facilitate change and growth in a total quality management environment
Nice To Haves
- Technical/formal training preferred
- Knowledge of wood products manufacturing process is preferred
