Requirements

  • Two year technical degree or equivalent education or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence required.
  • Must be 21 years of age to operate a company vehicle.
  • Strong mechanical skills - Perform mechanical field maintenance work to ensure optimal availability and reliability of artificial lift equipment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills - Listens to understand input, feedback and concerns. Responds promptly and positively to questions and requests.
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Good math skills – Ability to develop and apply mathematical thinking in order to solve a range of problems in everyday situations. Involves basic arithmetic and numerical concepts and uses measurements and standard tools and formulas to calculate data.
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite

Nice To Haves

  • Automation competencies include computer skills in SCADA, telemetry, Windows operating environment, database technologies, Internet, and networking.
  • Wireless communication competency required (SCADA, telemetry, host systems, etc.).
  • Certificate in DC Electronics

Responsibilities

  • Develops good working relationships with customers through professional communication.
  • Develop and maintain application competency in Production Automation.
  • Work with team to plan and execute on projects.
  • Reviews quotes, installation and repair plans to ensure a thorough understanding of customer needs and the parts and process required to address the need.
  • As needed, explains installation, service or repair plans, and invoices to customers; discusses cost or time overruns with team leader or manager.
  • Executes installations, repair, or service plans and documents results.
  • Creates product failure analysis reports.
  • Responsible for the accurate account of all truck inventory.
  • Drives and contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
  • Other duties as required.
