About The Position

Paulson-Cheek Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Plumbing Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be the go-to expert on-site, ensuring top-quality installation, team coordination, and safety compliance while serving as a key liaison between field crews, project management, and clients. This is a traveling field position requiring travel to project and customer locations based on business and project needs, primarily in the Norcross and greater Atlanta market.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or Superintendent in commercial construction
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing systems, installation, and local codes
• Excellent leadership and crew management skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and MEP plans
• Commitment to job site safety and OSHA standards
• Clear driving record and ability to travel to job sites throughout the region
• Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and strong communication skills
• Plumbing field leadership: 3 years (Required)
• Commercial plumbing project supervision: 3 years (Required)

• Plumbing & MEP drawings: 8 years (Preferred)
• Scheduling & manpower planning: 3 years (Preferred)
• Material coordination & project documentation: 3 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all plumbing field activities from start to finish
• Manage crews and subcontractors to meet deadlines and uphold high standards
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, job specs, and safety regulations
• Work closely with General Contractors and other trades for smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, and reporting
• Represent Paulson-Cheek with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset
