This role is crucial for the project planning phase, responsible for transforming blueprints into actionable bids to ensure projects are competitive, accurate, and profitable. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating.
• Strong, foundational plumbing and sprinkler knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the scope.
• Prepare comprehensive material and cost estimates; determine which production factors will influence the final price.
• Create detailed labor estimates for diverse projects.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with company vendors and contractors.
• Manage bids from vendors and use that data to prepare detailed cost analyses.
• Present prepared estimates to management and key stakeholders.
• Compile and record actual costs to refine future bidding accuracy.
