About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Plumbing Specialist to join our premier property management team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex plumbing infrastructure across our residential property portfolio. The ideal candidate brings exceptional technical expertise, a proactive approach to both emergency repairs and preventative maintenance, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence and tenant satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of residential plumbing systems, with demonstrated expertise in supply and drain line architecture.
  • Demonstrated capability utilizing property management platforms (Entrata / Isolved) for work order tracking, task documentation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Advanced ability to accurately diagnose systemic plumbing issues, formulate effective repair strategies, and execute solutions with precision.
  • Strong commitment to workplace cleanliness, personal presentation, and superior craft quality, paired with exceptional interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
  • Versatility and eagerness to support cross-functional facility needs (including Electrical, HVAC, and Groundskeeping) in alignment with team goals.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly diagnose and resolve complex plumbing challenges involving drain lines, supply lines, and associated infrastructure.
  • Perform precise routine maintenance and repairs, including clearing blockages, mitigating leaks, and installing or replacing high-grade fixtures.
  • Efficiently manage, document, and fulfill service requests using industry-standard property management software (Entrata).
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping and prompt resolution to eliminate repeat issues and maintain flawless service delivery.
  • Conduct systematic inspections of plumbing systems to proactively identify potential vulnerabilities and prevent costly failures.
  • Maintain a well-organized, fully stocked inventory of critical plumbing parts and components within the facility shop.
  • Assist with the maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing-adjacent appliances (dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens), collaborating seamlessly with the broader facilities team as needed.
  • Participate actively in the make-ready process, ensuring all residential plumbing systems are thoroughly tested, fully operational, and compliant with rigorous property standards prior to resident occupancy.
  • Exemplify professionalism and courtesy when interacting with residents in occupied units.
  • Strictly adhere to property entry protocols and door-tag policies, and promptly report pertinent property management concerns (e.g., unauthorized occupants or pets) to leadership.
  • Partner collaboratively with general maintenance personnel on specialized projects, seasonal demands (such as snow removal), and operational overflow tasks to support overall property objectives.
