Requirements

  • 2+ years of residential plumbing experience minimum
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety procedures
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a reputation for honesty, reliability, and dependability
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new processes and techniques
  • Physical dexterity and ability to perform hands‑on, field‑based work
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check, background check, and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose residential plumbing systems while providing clear, solution‑based recommendations that guide customers to confident buying decisions
  • Educate homeowners on their plumbing systems, functionality, performance, and available repair or replacement options through consultative sales presentations that demonstrate value beyond the initial investment
  • Identify and clearly communicate plumbing issues, system needs, and proposed solutions by asking targeted questions to understand customer goals, comfort, safety, and budget concerns
  • Prepare accurate proposals and price jobs per company standards; obtain customer authorization
  • Schedule service or installation appointments and coordinate with support staff
  • Submit required documentation, photos, and job specifications promptly
  • Communicate job requirements and customer expectations to installers
  • Stay engaged with customers and installers throughout installation
  • Conduct follow‑ups to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
  • Seek referrals and prospect new business opportunities
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and technical development programs
