About The Position

Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys helping customers solve problems and wants a role where your work directly supports a busy service department? Do you like being in the field, building trust, and turning opportunities into long-term customers? If so, this could be the perfect fit. At Blauch Brothers, Inc., we're looking for a Plumbing Sales Representative focused on business development and plumbing service sales. You'll work closely with our plumbing service team to grow recurring revenue through service agreements (jetting, backflow certifications, bathroom inspections, and more) while also quoting and selling larger plumbing projects (pipe lining, digging/excavation, milling, etc.). This isn't just a "run leads" position - it's a key role that strengthens customer relationships, drives proactive maintenance, and helps keep our technicians focused on delivering great service.

Requirements

  • Sales experience (home services, construction, or B2B preferred), with a strong focus on relationship building and follow-through
  • Comfort discussing plumbing services and recommending solutions (plumbing knowledge is a plus - we'll support the right candidate who's eager to learn)
  • Ability to assess a job site, gather scope details, and translate them into a clear quote/proposal
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and in-person
  • Organized and self-motivated: you can manage a pipeline, prioritize your day, and consistently follow up
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Team players who take pride in representing Blauch Brothers, Inc. professionally and doing what's right for the customer

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a pipeline of plumbing service and project opportunities through business development and relationship selling
  • Sell plumbing service agreements and recurring services, including:
  • Jetting and drain maintenance programs
  • Backflow testing/certifications and compliance support
  • Bathroom/plumbing inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Other recurring plumbing service offerings as needed
  • Meet customers on-site to assess needs, gather details, and recommend the right solution
  • Develop and present clear, professional quotes for larger work such as:
  • Pipe lining and rehabilitation solutions
  • Digging/excavation-related plumbing repairs
  • Milling and other restoration-related scopes (as applicable)
  • Partner with service leadership and technicians to scope work accurately and set expectations
  • Follow up consistently, manage your opportunities, and keep notes organized in the CRM
  • Help create long-term customer relationships by focusing on value, safety, uptime, and preventative care
