Plumbing Estimator

Victory Plumbing Savannah GASavannah, GA
Hybrid

About The Position

Victory Plumbing is seeking a dedicated Plumbing Sales Manager to lead the sale and planning of residential service, replacement, and contractor-driven plumbing work. This new role will serve as a focused, technically knowledgeable point of contact for homeowners and contractors, allowing field technicians to concentrate on their trade. The Plumbing Sales Manager will manage the customer and contractor sales experience from initial contact to job completion, including presenting repair and replacement options to homeowners and working with general contractors on new construction and remodel projects. This individual will also be instrumental in building the company's sales process, including scripts, follow-up procedures, pricing presentations, and CRM discipline. Strong plumbing knowledge is essential for credibility with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a plumber, plumbing estimator, or plumbing project coordinator.
  • Strong working knowledge of residential and/or commercial plumbing systems, materials, and installation practices — required.
  • Previous experience in a direct, sales role (in-home, contractor, or construction sales).
  • A demonstrated track record of closing sales one-on-one with customers or contractors.
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform material take-offs, or prior plumbing/trade experience that supports learning this quickly.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to work the schedule required for the position and maintain dependable attendance.
  • Strong working knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems, materials, and code basics — this is essential to the role, not a nice-to-have.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Ability to perform accurate material take-offs.
  • Comfort speaking technically and credibly with contractors, builders, technicians, and homeowners.
  • Proven track record of closing sales directly with customers or contractors, ideally in-home, in-person, or in construction sales.
  • Strong closing skills and comfort presenting pricing without a manager present.
  • Ability to build trust quickly and read customer or contractor needs and hesitation.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable owning a personal sales schedule and quota.
  • Exceptional customer-service and relationship-building skills.
  • Professional, confident, and empathetic in-person presence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to listen carefully, ask effective questions, and address objections professionally.
  • Experience using a CRM or field-service software to track opportunities and customers.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based applications.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and quotes with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of accountability and personal ownership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, the install team, dispatch, office staff, and company leadership.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor in every customer's home and every job site.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships with general contractors or builders in the greater Savannah area.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or a comparable field-service CRM.
  • Interest in growing into a sales leadership role as the team expands.

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer and contractor sales experience from first contact through a closed, planned job.
  • Take responsibility for meeting monthly sales targets for closed service, replacement, and contractor-driven revenue.
  • Proactively identify stalled opportunities, follow-up gaps, and customer or contractor hesitation before a sale is lost.
  • Follow every quote through to a clear outcome — closed, declined, or scheduled for follow-up — rather than letting opportunities go cold.
  • Keep ownership informed of sales performance, notable losses, and recurring objections from customers and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate, current, and complete opportunity and customer information in ServiceTitan.
  • Demonstrate a consistent sense of urgency, accountability, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Meet with homeowners at their property, following up on technician diagnoses to present clear repair and replacement options.
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, builders, and other trade partners as a source of ongoing plumbing work.
  • Ask effective questions to understand the customer or contractor's scope, budget, timeline, and decision-making process.
  • Present pricing, financing options, and warranty information clearly, honestly, and professionally.
  • Close sales directly, on the spot when possible, with both homeowners and contractor clients.
  • Address customer and contractor questions and objections with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
  • Follow up with prospects who don't close on the spot, on a consistent and documented cadence.
  • Request customer reviews and referrals following completed jobs.
  • Promote maintenance agreements and other company services when appropriate.
  • Read and interpret residential and commercial plumbing blueprints, specs, and scopes of work.
  • Perform accurate material take-offs from blueprints and project plans for contractor and new-construction jobs.
  • Coordinate directly with the install team to plan job execution and build accurate, complete material lists.
  • Translate blueprint and take-off details into accurate quotes and job scopes.
  • Flag scope, code, or material issues on a set of plans before they become field problems.
  • Own your daily schedule and travel efficiently between customer appointments, contractor meetings, and job sites across Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, and Garden City.
  • Coordinate closely with field technicians and the install team on job diagnosis, scope, and handoff of sold work.
  • Communicate with dispatch to schedule sold jobs promptly and accurately.
  • Respond promptly to technician requests for a sales consult while on-site with a customer.
  • Maintain professional, respectful, and solution-focused communication with field and office personnel.
  • Build accurate, complete quotes for service, replacement, and contractor jobs in ServiceTitan.
  • Document every customer and contractor interaction, objection, and next step in the CRM.
  • Ensure sold jobs are handed off with complete and accurate scope, material list, and customer information.
  • Maintain accurate records of closed, pending, and lost opportunities for reporting to ownership.
  • Help build Victory Plumbing's sales process from the ground up — scripts, objection handling, follow-up cadence, and pricing presentation.
  • Identify recurring objections, lost-sale patterns, and opportunities to improve the customer and contractor sales experience.
  • Recommend practical improvements instead of repeatedly working around the same problems.
  • Assist in developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures for the sales function.
  • Participate in company meetings, training, coaching, and professional-development activities.
  • Accept feedback professionally and demonstrate continuous improvement in performance.
