About The Position

A well-established commercial plumbing contractor in the San Jose area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial plumbing construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This individual will play a key role in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Requirements

5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial plumbing or mechanical construction
Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and construction processes
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Experience with project management and construction software platforms
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Nice To Haves

Experience managing commercial projects such as healthcare, multifamily, office, industrial, education, or mixed-use developments

Responsibilities

Manage commercial plumbing construction projects from kickoff through closeout
Coordinate with field teams, Superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors
Track project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement
Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Maintain communication with general contractors, owners, engineers, and project stakeholders
Monitor project costs and help maintain profitability goals
Attend project meetings and provide regular project updates
Assist with buyout and material procurement activities
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
Support field operations and help resolve project issues proactively
