About The Position

The Plumbing Mechanic will work as part of the new construction division to construct and install residential plumbing systems. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience who is looking to grow within the residential plumbing field.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience preferred
• Experience in new construction plumbing (required)
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
• Must have tools and reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required)
• Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions
• Dependable team player with the ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Install pipes and fixtures per regulation
• Perform rough-in plumbing work
• Assemble fittings and valves for installation
• Install support pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation
• Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed
• Tie in gas meters
• Test plumbing systems, turn water on, and check for leaks or issues
• Handle and complete warranty/service calls
• Use hand tools safely and effectively
• Assist with general plumbing installations and troubleshooting as needed
