About The Position
This role is responsible for the installation of new plumbing fixtures and making repairs to all piping systems, including drainage, water supply, vent systems, storm water drainage, natural gas lines, fire sprinkler piping, and medical gas and vacuum piping. The Plumbing Mechanic will also perform inspections on interceptors, separators, and acid neutralizers.
Requirements
- Three years with technical school
- Four years without technical school

Responsibilities
- Installation of new plumbing fixtures
- Make repairs to all piping of drainage systems, water supply, vent systems, storm water drainage systems, natural gas lines, fire sprinkler piping, medical gas and vacuum piping
- Perform inspections on interceptors, separators, and acid neutralizers
- Replacement of faucets and plumbing fixtures
- Installation of new piping ½ inch to 8 inch
- Snake drainage
- Testing of backflow devices
- Installation of hot water tanks
