Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of formal training in a state-approved Journey Plumber program at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.
5 years related work experience.
Knowledge of plumbing techniques, codes, procedures and materials.
Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.

Safely uses tools and equipment indicated herein.
Ability to solve problems and manage information indicated herein.
Require proficient written and verbal English communication skills, at least on an high school graduate level, to interact with departmental/JHM staff.
Identify and avoids hazards as indicated by warning labels, signage, lights and other warning devices.
Perform work within reasonable lengths of time as measured against trade, industry or engineered standards.
Ability to use all types of tools and equipment normally used in the plumbing trade, including specialized equipment such as power augers and pipe threaders, powered bench and hand tools (such as drills, grinders, compressed air), as well as non-powered hand tools.
