We believe in Building People…Building Trust…Building Dreams. The Plumbing Leadman/Foreman will oversee 4-8 people on any given job site. It is the Plumbing Leadman’s responsibility to get the job up and running. They will be able to run all phases of the job at one time (Underground, top out and finish).

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience overseeing 4-8 workers.
  • Strong understanding of current CPC.
  • CPVC and PEX Certification.
  • Ability to run one or more jobs.
  • Experience in ordering material, scheduling manpower.
  • Some labor budget knowledge.
  • Material management experience.
  • Must own your own basic plumbing tools and battery operated tools (company supplies power tools).
  • Ability to transport issued tools from job site to job site including ladder.
  • Experience in Residential plumbing installation.
  • Ability to operate threading machine.
  • Ability to operate a drill and Sawzall.
  • Ability to lift and carry over 80lbs at a time.
  • Self-motivated, organized with a can-do attitude.
  • Desire to learn and master all aspects of installing Plumbing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a changing team.
  • Committed to creating and participating in a positive workplace culture.
  • Capable of providing excellent internal and external customer interactions.
  • Desire to work with hands and to be outside.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of Apprenticeship Program is required for Journeyman.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of local codes for installation is a plus.
  • Lean Principles including 5S.
  • Prior construction or plumbing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 4-8 people on any given job site.
  • Get the job up and running.
  • Run all phases of the job at one time (Underground, top out and finish).
  • Layout and Install Cast Iron Waste Lines (using bands and snap cutters).
  • Layout and Install ABS Drain Lines (using pipe cutters and glue).
  • Layout and Install Copper water lines (measure, cut, clean, flux and solder).
  • Layout and Install CPVC water lines (measure, ream, glue).
  • Layout and Install Black iron gas line (layout, measure, run gas machine, install).
  • Layout and Install PEX water lines (cut pipe, use fitting expander).
  • Order material.
  • Schedule manpower.
  • Manage materials.
  • Operate threading machine.
  • Operate a drill and Sawzall.
  • Train other team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Management.
