Plumbing Laborer Technician Night Shift
About The Position
Working as a part of a 3–4-man team at night and at the direction of the plumbing manager. We are seeking a hardworking and reliable construction laborer to assist with plumbing installation and excavation tasks on various job sites. The ideal candidate must be able to work at night, five nights a week and will have experience operating heavy-duty tools such as jackhammers, demo saws and other hand and power tools, as well as performing manual digging and site preparation work. Vast majority of work is performed inside businesses, restaurants, supermarkets, etc.. Must be able to keep site neat and orderly.
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction, demolition, or a similar labor-intensive role
- Familiarity with jackhammers, demo saws, hand tools, mixing concrete.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to safety and detail
Nice To Haves
- Tile work experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Site preparation
- Operate jackhammers and demolition saws to break up concrete, asphalt, and other materials
- Dig holes + trenches manually with hand tools
- Clear sites of debris and other materials
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist skilled tradespeople as directed
- Follow all safety policies and best practices while wearing the proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working conditions
- Perform other general labor task as assigned by the plumbing manager.
