About The Position

DEAR Services is hiring a 01 - 02 Plumbing Journeyman in Washington State. As a Plumbing Journeyman, you will have the opportunity to work with your hands, engage in conversations with clients, and improve their lives by selling and installing customized solutions that fit their needs, wants, and budget. Requirements

Certified by Washington State Plumber Certification Program (PL01 / PL02 Plumbing Journeyman license).
4+ years of residential/commercial plumbing experience.
Pass an exam.
Complete 16 hours of continuing education.
Be supervised by a certified plumber.
8,000 hours of supervised experience as a plumber trainee.
Proven track record of successful installation or service.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with a variety of residential plumbing systems, hand/power tools, and trade knowledge.
Comfortable in small spaces (e.g., crawl spaces and attics).
Positive attitude.
Hard working.
Reliable.
Valid WA State driver’s license and a good driving record.
Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with residential clients to sell and install customized plumbing solutions.
Install plumbing hardware.
Work with inspectors, suppliers, and co-worker technicians to ensure correct project work and adherence to all codes.
Travel to customer locations as needed.
Communicate with customers in various circumstances.
Provide own tools.
