About The Position

Allen Service provides home services, such as electrical and plumbing, as well as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services. Because we are growing, we are looking for an Plumbing Installer Apprentice to join our team.

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on plumbing experience is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technical installation tasks quickly.
• Clear written and verbal skills for both team coordination and expert customer interaction.
• High integrity, a positive attitude, a collaborative approach, and a personal drive for continuous self-improvement.
• A valid driver’s license with an insurable record; must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with main plumbing system upgrades, pipe swap-outs, and replacing valves and fixtures.
• Run water supply lines and install protective drain-waste-vent (DWV) piping safely and efficiently.
• Set up water heaters, sump pumps, water softeners, and bathroom/kitchen fixtures.
• Install garbage disposals, backup sump pump systems, gas lines for appliances, and filtration systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and manage vehicle inventory for maximum efficiency.
• Complete invoices, timecards, and project documentation with accuracy and speed.
• Actively engage in training sessions, team meetings, trade shows, and company retreats.
