About The Position

The Plumbing Installation Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential construction settings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of plumbing installation techniques, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and adherence to safety standards and building codes.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of residential new construction plumbing experience
  • Experience with single-family production homes preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints, plumbing plans, and construction drawings
  • Knowledge of plumbing installation methods, materials, and applicable building codes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background screening
  • Yes

  • Experience with single-family production homes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, water heaters, and related equipment in single-family new construction homes.
  • Perform underground, rough-in, top-out, and trim phases of residential plumbing installation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing layouts, and construction plans.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, company standards, and safety requirements.
  • Inspect completed installations for quality, accuracy, and code compliance.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, superintendents, and project stakeholders.
  • Complete required documentation, including work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Assist with material handling and inventory as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
