About The Position

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Lawrenceville & Dacula is looking for a motivated Plumbing Helper / Apprentice to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn the plumbing trade or build on existing experience while working alongside experienced licensed plumbers.

Requirements

• Plumbing, construction, maintenance, or other hands-on trade experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Punctual, reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, outdoors, and on ladders
• Ability to follow instructions, apply what you learn, and work well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with residential repairs, installations, and service work
• Help with water heaters, repipes, water lines, sewer/drain work, fixtures, gas piping, and other plumbing projects
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
• Assist with digging, demolition, pipe installation, and jobsite cleanup
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Learn plumbing systems, installation methods, safety procedures, and code requirements
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
