About The Position

Upchurch is a full-service building engineering company providing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services across the southeastern United States. The Plumbing Foreman leads plumbers and apprentices on job sites, oversees workflow and work quality, and coordinates with supervisors, superintendents, and project managers to support project requirements and timelines. The role requires interpreting plumbing plans and specifications, ensuring that the team has the necessary materials and tools, and enforcing safety and housekeeping protocols.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of verifiable plumbing trade experience.
• Valid Journeyman Plumber License in the State of Texas.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, blueprints, specifications, and codes.
• Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and schedule projects to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and lead plumbers and apprentices, assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure efficient job-site workflow.
• Ensure plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available.
• Coordinate with supervisors to resolve work-related issues.
• Read and interpret plumbing blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure installations meet project requirements.
• Enforce safety and housekeeping protocols.
• Communicate status updates and delays to superintendents and project managers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for supervisors regarding team operations and issues.
