About The Position

Central Business Solutions, Inc is seeking a Plumbing Designer / Engineer for a full-time position. The role involves designing and developing plumbing systems, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with various project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will ensure designs comply with all relevant codes and standards, and will support project teams through the construction phase.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing design or engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and design standards.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with BIM coordination and Revit-based project environments.
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) license is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary, vent, and storm drainage systems.
• Prepare plumbing layouts, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the design process.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and assist with design reviews.
• Support project teams in resolving design-related issues during construction.
