About The Position

EXP is seeking a Plumbing Designer / Engineer to join their MEP Plumbing Team within the U.S. South Sector. This role will be based in either the Maitland, Florida or Milwaukee, Wisconsin office. The position offers the opportunity to work on designing plumbing systems for a variety of projects including Gaming, Hospitality, Entertainment, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors. Requirements

• Ability to think in a 3D simulated environment
• 5 + years’ minimum experience in plumbing design, wanting to begin or expand their experience in the plumbing engineering field.
• Strong REVIT MEP experience.
• Great communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Engineering or Drafting Degree (BS Architectural Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Plumbing Engineer, AS Drafting and Design, or equivalent degree) is a plus.
• EIT or PE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with a senior engineer for the direction of the plumbing systems to be designed.
• Route plumbing systems and size appropriately.
• Perform load calculations and perform selection of equipment.
• Prepare schedules, details, and fixture and equipment schedules.
• Understand the scope of SD, DD, CD level documents and be able to prepare and deliver drawings at the appropriate level.
• Review and respond to Construction Administration items to include RFIs and submittals.
• Delegate tasks to a junior level designer.
