Groggs Home Services is hiring a Plumbing Assistant to support residential and light commercial plumbing work in the Parkersburg, WV area. Requirements
- Interest in learning the plumbing trade (prior experience a plus, not required)
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces, trenches, and outdoor environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and team-first mindset
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with others
Responsibilities
- Assist with residential and light commercial plumbing services and installations
- Support lead plumbers with jobsite setup, material handling, and cleanup
- Help install and repair water heaters, fixtures, piping, drains, and related components
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Represent Carolina Air with professionalism and a positive attitude
