About The Position

First-year Roto-Rooter service technicians can expect top pay, earning $55,000 on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience, with the most experienced technicians earning between $85,000-$95,000 yearly while working 40 hours a week. Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid training plus continual training in our plumbing school. You’ll earn while you learn the trade, and we’ll guide you through the plumber licensing process to help you advance.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license.
- Effective communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving skills are desirable, but prior experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Utilize skills to provide effective solutions for plumbing and drain issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose issues and offer cost estimates to finalize the transaction.
- Make necessary repairs for the customer.
- Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and move on to the next service call.
