About The Position

First-year Roto-Rooter service technicians can expect top pay, earning $55,000-$65,000 on average, with pay increasing quickly with experience. Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid training, plus continual training in their plumbing school. Apprentices will earn while learning the trade, and the company will guide them through the plumber licensing process to help them advance.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license.
- Effective communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving skills are desirable, but prior experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Utilize skills to provide effective solutions for plumbing and drain issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Commence a service call by diagnosing issues and offering cost estimates to finalize the transaction.
- Make necessary repairs for the customer.
- Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and move on to the next service call.
