About The Position
Len the Plumber Heating and Air is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Plumbing Academy Assistant/Plumbing Helper to provide support to their Service Technicians. This role offers a fast-track career opportunity to transition into their Apprentice Program or Service Technician role for applicants who possess a strong work ethic, can follow verbal directions, demonstrate strong problem-solving and customer service skills, are highly reliable, and have a desire to learn and apply new information in the field. Successful Helpers may be selected for the next Academy Class. Len the Plumber Heating and Air has been proudly serving the community for decades with exceptional plumbing, heating, and cooling services, treating their team like family and providing the necessary tools, training, and support to succeed. Requirements

- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- One year of residential plumbing service experience
- Construction or Maintenance experience
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas
- Help install fixtures, piping, and related plumbing components under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures
- Learn and apply plumbing techniques and best practices
