About The Position
Central Plumbing is seeking a dependable and motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team in Baton Rouge. This position is ideal for someone with solid hands-on plumbing experience who is looking to advance their career while working alongside seasoned professionals. The Apprentice Plumber will assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial environments, while providing high-quality customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of plumbing experience
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial water distribution and disposal systems
- Proficient with plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, cutters, etc.)
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and basic technology
- Must pass a P3 background check
- Drug screening required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to work weekends and participate in an on-call rotation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with customers, office staff, and field teams
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
