About The Position
Skillforce is hiring plumbers and helpers for ongoing multifamily plumbing work near Fort Belvoir in Fairfax County, VA. They are hiring at every level, from first-year helpers to journeyman-level plumbers. The role involves running multifamily plumbing from prep to finish, or learning the trade.
Requirements
- All levels welcome, from helper to journeyman
- Plumbers: residential or multifamily experience
- Helpers: some plumbing or construction background
- Reliable transportation; card and tools a plus
Responsibilities
- Rough-in, set fixtures, run DWV and water lines
- Cut, prep, and stage pipe and fittings on site
- Read prints and lay out plumbing runs cleanly
- Work with PEX, copper, PVC, and cast iron pipe
- Test systems, find leaks, and clear callbacks
