About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our housing maintenance team in Columbus, GA. This full-time position involves performing plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance for residential properties. Candidates must be dependable and available for occasional on-call service requests.
Requirements
- Proven plumbing experience (residential preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential units
- Install and repair water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, and piping
- Clear drains and address sewer line issues
- Perform routine plumbing maintenance and inspections
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Respond to on-call maintenance requests as needed
- Maintain tools and keep job sites clean and organized
