About The Position

The Plumber installs and maintains all types of plumbing for the heating and cooling systems, gas, water and drainage systems of the University and other entities. Performs emergency repairs outside of normal working hours. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of plumbing experience required.
• Understanding of the Uniform Plumbing Code and other applicable codes.
• Able to move with agility to transport equipment.
• Maintain hand and finger dexterity to perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Able to follow general safety protocols.
• Able to work professionally with colleagues in a manner that generates mutual respect and a positive working environment.
• Able to work with limited supervision.
• Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.

• Able to perform basic math functions (e.g., add, subtract, multiply and divide).

• Valid Driver's License required at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree or Trade School Certification in plumbing preferred.
