About The Position

This role involves accommodating residential and commercial service calls. Qualified applicants must be self-motivated, clean, neat, and possess a positive attitude. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and making proper repairs to all aspects of the plumbing system. A North Carolina driver's license is required, along with successful completion of drug testing and background checks.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience working as a plumber in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, tools and equipment.
• Working knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work.
• Ability to communicate well with customers and team members.
• Manage detailed reports of work done on job sites to ensure successful and adequate repairs performed.
• Exceptional customer service and client focus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• NC drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout.
• Navigate the assembly and installation of pipes without interfering with existing infrastructure.
• Measure and cut pipe material.
• Inspect and/or repair previously installed plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings.
• Assemble valves, fittings, pipes and water system appliances.
• Install and maintain building water systems.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues relating to water supply lines.
• Repair and replace system issues such as clogged drains, faucet problems, broken drainage lines, etc. in residential and commercial buildings.
• Maintain current knowledge of state regulations and requirements affecting plumbing work.
