About The Position

Performs a wide variety of testing, repairs, maintenance, and record keeping for plumbing and medical gas systems and equipment. This role operates under the general direction of the Utilities Manager and adheres to Hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and applicable codes and practices.

Requirements

Thorough understanding of plumbing and medical gas system codes, regulations, and practices.
Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Able to climb ladders.
Able to access crawl spaces.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
