About The Position

The Plumber is responsible for setting up, repairing, diagnosis, trouble shooting and the maintenance of the plumbing system, or any other related plumbing components for an organization or its customers. The company provides opportunities for continual training and gaining additional experiences in the industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of service experience in the Plumbing industry
  • Clean and Clear Driving Record
  • Good clear communication skills
  • Self-motivated and be able to work with minimal to no supervision.
  • Must be a team member exhibiting a positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Must be flexible with work hours
  • Minimum (2) years of service experience in the Plumbing industry
  • Need to have a good driving record, with no more than 2 points on your license
  • Ability to have good communication skills used for both the customer and co-workers
  • Must be Self-motivated and be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Must be a team member exhibiting a positive attitude and work ethic
  • Driving a company vehicle.
  • Working in hot attics or cold places
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
  • Occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions due to weather.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, pull, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • May need to be in restrictive spaces such as an attic or a crawl space.
  • May need to climb a latter to access the Plumbing equipment on the roof.
  • Must occasionally pull, lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman or Master License highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Servicing and repairing all types of Plumbing equipment.
  • Reading blueprints to diagnosis, troubleshoot, analyze, and locate the malfunction on the Plumbing Unit.
  • Replace the defective or worn parts and then make any necessary adjustments.
  • Provide suggestions for increased energy efficiency and setting controls to determine that a system is working properly.
  • Install and / or assist in the installation of Plumbing equipment when needed.
  • Meeting the customer’s needs and providing excellent positive customer service.
  • Meeting quarterly goals.
  • Be part of an On Call rotation.
