About The Position
Filtrex Service Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our growing team. This role involves traveling to various job sites across the country to perform plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs as part of our national service operations. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel, working independently, and representing Filtrex’s high standards of service. The company began its transition in 2012 from a coil cleaning and filter replacement company to a self-performing national mechanical contractor, focusing on HVAC/R preventive maintenance. The success of The Filtrex Solution is measured by consistent quality of service and significant reductions in clients' HVAC/R budgets. Filtrex has made a name for itself in the software industry as well as the HVAC/R industry through the utilization of QRScan's Enterprise Asset Management Suite and the development of multiple apps for clients, technicians, and administrative staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a plumber (commercial experience preferred)
- Valid plumbing license (if required by state)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel extensively and work flexible schedules
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in commercial environments
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers and team members
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
