About The Position

The Service and Repair Plumber performs various plumbing duties for Siegel Suites and Select properties. This is a roving position that will travel to different locations throughout Las Vegas. The role requires effective communication, a neat appearance, and the ability to respond to emergency work orders within 2 hours. The plumber will also train property maintenance staff on basic plumbing and accept on-call responsibilities. A friendly disposition is essential to maintain customer service standards and create a positive living environment for tenants. Other related duties may be assigned by the supervisor. Willingness to travel and OSHA 10 certification are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
5 years of Plumbing experience required.
Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Proper Transportation (Truck or Van needed).
Own basic plumbing tools.
Ability to work in cramped, dirty/dusty, cold or hot conditions.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, kneel, and lift up to 100 lbs.
Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
OSHA 10 certification.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Sewer machine is a plus, but not required.
Ability to learn from existing in-house plumber.

Responsibilities

Perform property plumbing repairs, including sewer machine operations, drain clearing, installing new shower valves and cartridges, water line repipes, and sewer repairs.
Respond to emergency property work orders within 2 hours.
Train property maintenance staff on basic plumbing maintenance.
Accept on-call responsibilities as reported by supervisor.
Maintain a friendly disposition to ensure peak customer service standards.
Travel to different property locations as needed.
Ensure tools and vehicle are stocked and prepared for daily tasks.
Use all safety equipment properly.
Communicate effectively with tenants, management, and team members.
