About The Position

The Plumber ensures safe, efficient operation of all Public Restrooms, plumbing fixtures, pumping equipment, kitchen equipment and other related systems. This role is responsible for preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of all equipment, applying operational procedures as required by state and local codes. The Plumber will maintain a log of all equipment status and inventory of parts and materials necessary for repairs, and keep all equipment, equipment rooms and other assigned areas clean. They will perform operation and regular preventive maintenance of all plumbing and kitchen equipment, and maintain an inventory of supplies. Additionally, the Plumber will assist all other trades in the Facilities Department as directed by the Shift Supervisor. A security escort is required for performing job functions in a restricted casino area. The role also involves performing duties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Caesars and encouraging others to do the same.

Requirements

Minimum three years experience working with pumping equipment, plumbing and other related systems.
Must possess a Plumbing License issued by the City of New Orleans.
Must possess a valid Louisiana Drivers License.
Must possess strong communication skills.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, and work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned task.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, climb ladders and work on man-lift type equipment.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to read and understand Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical plans.

High school graduate preferred.
