Requirements
- Three years of experience or training in pipefitting, steam fitting, or plumbing.
- One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience.
Responsibilities
- Repairs and modification to all plumbing systems including above and below ground.
- Performs repairs and preventative maintenance to domestic and commercial hot water heaters and boilers to ensure they are within code and insurance specifications.
- Installs and repairs plumbing, steam regulators, steam traps, and relief valves.
- Assembles various metal and plastic pressure and sewerage piping using threaded joints, soldering techniques, clamps, bonds, and leaded joints.
