About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is to provide operations and maintenance support through the performance of plumbing duties. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment, determining methods to accomplish plumbing related assignments, and performing all plumbing trades’ functions necessary to install, maintain, and repair fixtures, equipment, and systems described in the contract. The Plumber will install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications, plumbing codes, and building plans. They will also inspect structures to ascertain obstructions and ensure work areas are cleaned and restored after maintenance tasks are completed, while adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience.
- Shall hold a Journeymen Plumbing License as required by the Government contract and state.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
- Practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check and maintain the ability to access the government worksite.

Responsibilities
- Responsible to the immediate supervisor for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment.
- Determines methods to accomplish plumbing related assignments.
- Performs all plumbing trades’ functions necessary to install, maintain, and repair the fixtures, equipment, and systems described in the contract.
- Installs and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes, and building plans.
- Inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from pipe installation .
- Ensure work areas are cleaned and restored after maintenance tasks are completed.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
