Gateway Mechanical has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Plumber in Regina! Attending to 40,000+ service calls per year, Gateway is the largest HVAC & Refrigeration service provider in Western Canada. Our model is comprised of local branch teams with fully qualified personnel representing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing/gas fitting, sheet metal and electrical trades. These teams are supported by centers of excellence including professional engineers and project managers which ensures Gateway’s full technical capability is available for every project and service call. The Journeyman Plumber will perform quality installations for our valued clients on commercial and industrial sites while showcasing exceptional customer service skills.

Requirements

• Journeyman Plumber Certification
• Service experienced is required
• 2+ years in a similar role
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract

Nice To Haves

• HVAC experience is considered an asset
• Gas A Ticket is an asset
• Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, Fall Protection, AWP, H2S Alive, considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Work within commercial and industrial environments such as supermarkets, data centers, institutions;
• Install new equipment and materials;
• Complete the required daily equipment inspections, safety reports, and Field Level Hazard Assessments;
• Lift up to 50 lbs;
• Perform work using hand and power tools in a safe manner;
• Read and interpret blueprints, basic spec and shop drawing interpretation considered an asset;
• Maintain clean and operable equipment, vehicle, and work areas at all times;
• Other duties as assigned
