What You'll Do as a Plumber I: This entry-level position is perfect for self-starters with little to no experience in plumbing. You'll work under close supervision while gaining practical skills in commercial plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, waste, gas piping, fixtures, and more).

Requirements

  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and doing things right.
  • Reliability, positive attitude, high energy, and a self-starter mindset.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent bending/lifting, standing/walking on uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climbing ladders.
  • No prior plumbing experience required (1–3 years in construction, labor, or related fields preferred but not mandatory)—we'll provide training for the right person!
  • Enthusiasm to learn commercial plumbing systems and eagerness to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of plumbing piping systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial settings.
  • Helping repair and replace pipes, fittings, valves, drains, and fixtures (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters).
  • Carrying tools, materials, and equipment to support the team on job sites.
  • Performing general site clean-up to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Completing required paperwork, documentation, and basic reports to track work.
  • Actively learning plumbing codes, safety practices, materials, and commercial best practices to grow toward higher levels.
